L1A visa stamping

Hi - My L1A extension (Form 129) has been approved by USCIS. Just got the status from the website, but waiting for the approval notice to come.

My Question is :

I am planning to travel to India in December, 2016 and have my visa stamped. Though my current visa is valid till Feb, 2017, would I be required to personally go for the visa extension and interview or I can use the drop box facility (if yes can i use drop box facility at New Delhi). My petition most probably will be valid till Oct 2018 (have not seen yet, but assumed this will be the date because my attorney asked for this date in my application). Will my visa be extended for 2 years from my current expiry date viz Feb 2017 (till Feb 2019) or it will be only till my extended petition date (which most likely will be Oct 2018).

Appreciate somebody clarifying this for me please.

IS it L1A blanket or L1A individual?

Its individual, but my current which is due to expire in Feb is under Blanket

You will most likely be allowed dropbox.

Thanks For clarifying. Could you please clarify my second question also. Will I get visa valid 2 years from my current visa expire date of Feb 2017 or it will be till the expiry date on my Petition which is Oct 10/10/18

Most likely only till petition expiry date. Think of it, after all thats what your employer(through the attorney) asked for. In past some cases L1 visa was given for 5 Years/7 Years for first time stamping. But those were anomalies rather than the norm.
