Had L1A Blanket visa in Ottawa (Nov 14, 2016), 8:30am
This is my 3rd time L1 visa stamping (1st- india (2011), 2nd- Ottawa (2014))
The procedures inside the building for visa interviews were changed compared to 2014. In 2014, it was token system but this time it is queue.
Counter:1
1) collected Anti fraud fees- $500.00
2) collected passport, DS160, I129s, I797 and noted the date and returned back to me.
Follow another queue for visa interview. There are 3 counters (2,3,4) for interview but that day only 2 counters were working.
I went to counter 2.
1) What do you do?
2) How long are you working with your employer? (10 years).. (she raised her eye brows- "Thats very long time....")
3) Since you have worked long time, how many who work under you? 3 (i dont have any DRs at that point of time)

1) Are you currently working?
2) what is your highest qualification?
Result: Your visa is approved. Stamped "cancelled" on old visa and returned my old passport. You can collect passport in 3-4 business days.
Overall it took about 1 hour to complete the process.
I received my passport 3 working day from CPC center.
