  • K3 after marriage

    Hello all,
I married with a Turkish citizen husband in Turkey. And now Im back in the US. I need to find out how can I register my marriage there. I have seen some articles saying that it is not necessary. If so which surname i should be using when filling out this Form I-130?

And he has our marriage certificate copies, his passport and sworn affidavits from our marriage witnesses translated there. Dpes he need to have any of them notarized there before sending me?

Thank you for the support and please feel free to comment if there are any other vital things we need to take care of..

The marriage should be registered in the Turkish jurisdiction it took place.
The US doesn't care about anything notarized; plain paper copies should suffice.

You shlould be going for a CR1 visa. K3s are practically obsolete now.
