Hi Folks,
My STEM OPT extension has been rejected because I sent my packet on December 22, 2016 with a fee of $410 and it was received by USCIS on 23rd December. However, they claim that the date of post decides the amount, and hence it should have been $380.
Now, when I send my second application again, should I send all the documents and the previous money order as it is or should I send a new money order and the new print outs/copies of all the documents? The documents are marked with some sort of seal/signature of USCIS at the bottom of each page. I called USCIS and they said that just send the packet and money order as is, without any change. However, there is no clear instruction regarding this in the I-765 instructions.
My opt expires in next 15 days, so I do not have any room for mistake now and it's making me very nervous. Could someone please answer that if I need new money order + copies or just post the same documents sent back by USCIS as is? Thanks a lot in advance.
