CKGS NY - OCI, Renunciation Submission - Walk In

I have been there in NY ckgs today. It seems to be they have changed the process. CKGS have accepted my Renunciation application but not the OCI application. Until I get my renunciation certificate and cancelled indian passport, I cannot apply for OCI. However, renunciation will be completed within 5 business days.

yes it is not even allowing in their website also , its says you have to get renunciation certificate first then only can apply for OCI
