L1B (not currently working) to Green Card via marriage

Hi,

I am currently an L1b visa holder (valid till 2020) but only working in the US a few months a year as a consultant on a project for a US company. The rest of the time I am working in Europe where I am employed full time. I am planning to get married to US citizen and am looking for advise regarding visas and green cards.

1. Do I need a fiancee visa to travel to the US if I am not working there?
2. If I do need a fiancee visa, do I put information regarding my L1b on the K1 fiancee visa application questions 15a-15h?
3. If I do not need a fiancee visa, can I simply travel to the US, get married, and file for adjustment of status to a green card?
