L1B to H1B with Counselor processing
Hello All
Thanks for your time! Would really be great if someone could help me in my query
Currently I am in US with L1B (3 years validity till March 19 + 2 more year extension till 2021) with company A. My wife is currently working on L2-EAD. The same company A wants to file my H1B now so the employer remains the same
1. I would want my wife to continue her job for some more time with L2-EAD, so my company A files H1B with counselor processing and I get approved then will I be able to continue working on my L1B status for some time thus making sure that my wife maintains her L2-EAD?
2. If point 1 is possible then will it be possible for me to go in and out of US maintaining my L1 status for some time?
3. If point 1 is possible then what is the time that I will get before I have to change my status and start working on H1B?
4. Are there any risk involved in this?
