  • Changed information since N 400 submission

    Hi,

I submitted my N 400 (prepared by lawyer) in late 2015. My interview is early next month. Since submission of my N 400, my address and employer info has changed. I was able to update the address through AR 11 submission. What is a good way of informing my Immigration Officer during the interview of change in employment?

    1) Should I inform him verbally and he will make note of it?
    2) Should I type it out on a sheet of paper and hand it over to him?
    3) Should I fill out a new N 400 and give it to him? The N 400 available now has a slightly different format from the one I submitted 18 months ago, so I cant fill out only the relevant pages, I will have to fill out the whole 20 page form again, which is fine but my previous form was prepared by the lawyer with the lawyer's signatures etc on it.

    Thank you for the help

    Changed info

    Hey there,

I did my citizenship late last year and during the interview, the interviewer asks you if any of your information has changed in any way. You can tell the interviewer then and they will update it in their system. No need to resubmit any forms. Just tell them in the interview.
