I am new to the group and hence i apologize in advance if i am posting something against the rules or regulations.
I wish to know if i change my job immediately after the i-140 is approved(before 180 days) like after a month or so, does this impact in anyway my future h1b extensions or GC process.
I do understand that i would have to restart the process and that my PD can be ported, but is it advisable to stay with the current employer for 6 months or so?
Can someone really explain the new AC21 rule which went on effect in Jan this year.
Also as I am apporaching my 6 years on H1B soon, basically i have 1.5 month and my H1B extension is in process right now.
Does anything get impacted in my case?
I do not wish to change the job, however there are rumours of sudden and unexpected lay-offs in the org.
