Exit - Departure record requested by Consular at Immigrabt Visa Interview
We had our Immigrant visa interview last week, after reviewing all the information and checking correctness we were asked if we have a copy of the exit record when we departed the country USA. I had completed my Immigration ban in 2012 and left the country in 2002, the consular office told us that he will ask for the evidence themselves from some agency and can take up to 30 days. Does someone know from where they get this information from? We were placed on a special chartered flight out of the country, and we finger printed and our eye retina scanned. Do they even maintain such records? Some one please respond if they faced a similar situation or someone with legal expertise!!
