Hi

Please find my question from follow:

1) Once we applied for STEM OPT extension through employer (he filled 983 form), I wanted to know-once extension has approved, can employer can revoke 983 or terminate(this question is because he filled 983 form)? anytime after we have card in our hand?

Can any employer can do that??? will he have that ability to do like that for a candidate?

Hello,

The STEM case is still in the court, and the extension rules remain vague for all. But I can probably say that, once the STEM is extended, then the card is valid for the given period, just as the EAD received after the OPT extension. Most probably, employer cannot revoke.
