  • Trying to move to NJ, but wife has an old record.

Hey guys! I am hoping someone could help me. I'm a Canadian citizen and so is my wife. We are looking for a move to NJ in the United States. There is a trouble though. The big deal is that my wife was charged with some criminal charges when she was 19. She assaulted a person who was consistently eve teasing her. She did some community service at the time, but the record is still there. The record never bothered her ever since as she never worked in any big firms. It’s now 16 years and we are looking to get it cleared and get a US Entry waiver( http://www.pardoncanada.com/travel-t...ct-regulation/ ), which I heard is essential for entering US for people with a criminal record. I have heard that legal firms like Pardon Canada helps in getting this done. Can someone advise me about her chances of getting a pardon. Should we try to do the procedure ourselves or getting professional help is a better choice? Even if we get the pardon, could we make the move without more troubles?
