DS 160 help regarding "clan or tribe"

Hi,

I am from India and I belong to "Scheduled Caste" (SC). DS 160 has a field to fill asking "Do you belong to a clan or tribe?"
Is SC category considered a clan or tribe in India? What should I fill? Also, whom should I ask to get clear confirmation?
