I work for a reputed company on l1b Visa, my L1b maxout on May 1st 2018 . my Current company also applying for H1b this year . Currently there is a promotion opportunity in MAY 2017 time frame , my role is going to change (Higher salary & additional responsibilities) . My question is if i take the promotion opportunity does this invalidate current H1b application since LCA for H1b is filed based on current job role? Will it be possible to make amendment once the h1b petition (if it is picked in lottery) is approved to meet the requirements of promoted role?
