Hi everyone, I have a few questions related to my wife's H4 EAD. Hope to get help from the community here.
Facts:
1. My H1B expires in August 2017, and my extension will not be filed under premium processing (considering that it will be suspended next week).
2. I have an approved I-140
3. I plan to switch jobs in the next 3-6 months, which means I will need to transfer my H1B
Questions:
1. Should my wife apply for H4 EAD work permit now or wait for my H1B extension OR H1B transfer (whatever comes first)?
2. Can my wife keep working on an expired H4 EAD, if she has already filed for an extension, and waiting for a response from USCIS?
3. Can my wife work on the same H4 EAD, if I transfer my H1B to a new employer, but my prior employer does not cancel my exiting I-140?
