Visitor visa for doctors

Hello,

My parents who are physicians by profession are going to appear for US visa(B2) interview at the Chennai consulate.I heard for some people that doctors have rare chances of getting the visa approved eventhough they are aged and have family responsibilities and properties in India. I would appreciate any inputs/suggestions.
