I am a Ph.D. student in the US and have an F1 visa. We want to apply for an F2 visa for my husband, but he is currently working for a company in our own country. He wants to get an F2 visa only for visiting me one-two months in a year. At this point, should we emphasize that he wants this visa just for visiting me ? Is there a possibility to get a rejection because of applying F2 visa just for visiting?
