My spouse was laid off on 1st November 2016 and was on H1B. We then applied for L2 for him which is still under processing but we did receive the acknowledgement notice from USCIS for it to be 9th Dec effective. Now he has found a new employer to sponsor him with a new job. Should he apply for change of status from L2 to H1 or should go to home country to get it stamped. The question is how can he get back on H1
