Tourist Visa for Australia

Dear Friends

I along with my wife am planning to visit Australia for tourism In coming christmas. Our trip will be of arround 3 weeks.

I have some questions to clear myself.

1. How much fund I need to show in my bank accounts so that we both get tourist Visa comfortably.

2. Since I am retired and my gross income does not exceeds the exemption limit of Income tax,as such I do not file income tax return.Is it mandatary to produce copy of Income Tax return.

3. We have other FDs, Property and our daughters & grand children in India.
