ESTA needed when travelling on K2

My daughter is joining me here in the US tomorrow, travelling on a K2 visa. I've just realised her ESTA has lapsed. Do I need to bother getting a new ESTA given she'll be travelling on a visa. She's a UK citizen.

Your daughter's K2 visa, if not used previously, will allow her to enter the U.S. An ESTA lapse is not an issue.
