Dear All,
I badly need help. I am going to Mexico for my I-94 extension. My visa is valid till 2018 and have new passport is valid till 2026. The problem here is my amendment approval was only till Dec 2016 due to mistake at Employer side. When i applied for another amendment for current project, i received an RFE. They said they received the amendment paperwork on Feb 8th 2017 which we were supposed to send before Dec 2016. There is 56 days delay and they are asking why it is getting delayed.
Now the current problem is my I-94 is only valid till June 15, 2017 so i need to cross the boarder to get it updated till my original H1 that is till 2018. Will they consider the 1st amend approval which got ended till 2016? Will there be any problem if i show them my H1 which is valid till 2018 and new passport and get it I-94 done?
At boarder , can they see the amend exp date as well in the systems? Please help.
