B1 denied

My husband and I whom is both employed went for B2 visa and got denied. Our friends and family who have the same job as me good through with a less bank account than mines. Is the real reason my application keep getting denied because my brother is a LPR in Texas. I really just want to go and visit and do some shopping but the USA counciller said she hasnt seen no improvement in our bank statement.

There are various reasons for the visa denial, it's not because your brother's LPR. Visa officer don't look at only the job and bank balance. You can always reapply.
