  • Administrative processing without any form or 221(g) slip

    Hello all,

wife: my wife responded less than a year.
cons. can i have your marriage certificate?
wife: handed it over to him.
cons. he then asked me specifically, sir how much experience you have in this field.
me. I replied more than 7 years.
cons. please tell me your work history
me. I started telling him my work history from where i started job and all.
cons. he interrupted and said please give me details of your complete work history.
me. I started telling him from when i started job, but i didn't remember dates when i switched job, i started to look into my folder.
cons. he asked you don't know when you joined which company
me. i said i dont remember dates but i do remember the work tenure, for how long i have worked for specific company.
cons. its your work experience, you should know dates.
me. sorry i dont know exact dates.
    cons. (giving weird looks)
me. (i continued giving my work history) .... then i joined xyz company in 2015 and till then i am here (pardon my english)
cons. ok so when did you stop working for that company ( i didn't understand what he asked, i thought he asked when did i start working for it)
    me. i said march 2015
    cons. when did you stop?
    me. march 2015
cons. so you have left the company?
    me. no
cons. so when did you stop?
my wife: he is asking when did you stop.

cons. on what project you will be working for them? or is there any client you will work for?
me. i ll be working on an in-house project named "abc"
cons. tell me about project "abc"
me. ( i told him about it what was written in my offer letter)
cons. no tell me for what clients will it be.
me. ( i told him list of clients they are selling this project to)
cons. specifically tell me for which client you will be working ( i think he wanted to get to know whether i ll be working for any client)
me. no sir, i ll be working for an in-house project, i wont be working for any client, and as i haven't joined yet, thats all i know about this project.
cons. you should know for which client you will be working?

cons. what is the salary they offering you?
    me. xxx$ per year
cons. your petition was approved in 2016 why are you applying so late (i think he was checking me if i know when it was approved)
me. no its approved in feb 2017 and i received the parcel in late march 2017
cons. no it has been approved in 2016.
me. i have given him my parcel in which date of approval for h1b package was mentioned.
cons. no you dont need to give me proofs, you have to be sure verbally.
    me. (blank expressions)
cons. what is your education level.
me. i have done BS in computer engineering
cons. when did you completed it
    me. told him year
cons. can i see your degrees.
me. i have given him my degrees copy.
cons. actually give me everything related to this petition.
me. i have given him everything original of my h1b petition.
cons. I am going to put your case in Administrative processing, until then don't email us, don't contact us and it will gonna take long long time, so currently don't make any plans to travel to US.
    me. Ok
cons. asked my wife for fingers biometric (we already had done that)
cons. then asked me for biometric.
consulate didnt give us any 221(g) slip or form.
when me and my wife were started to leave, he said we will contact you soon.
    we said OK.

this whole interview took 20 to 25 mins.

Now we are blank that what is gonna happen as we didn't receive any 221(g) slip, but neither got approval, haven't received any mail regarding this, I informed my employer he said, they do give 221(g) slip if they put someone on administrative processing, that is first time he is seeing such case.

I want to know if there is anyone with the similar case?

    Best regards,
    Agha Rameez Ahmed
