B2 Visa - Supporting Document in Native Language

Hi,
my parents are filing self sponsored B2 visa. Many of Property and other supporting documents are in Marathi. English Translated copies are not available at local government offices. How should we proceed about it ? Is there a mandatory requirement to have all documents in English?
We are planning to take a translator for an interview. Will he be able to help reading these documents to consulate officer?

If you are going for an interview in Mumbai, Marathi documents are absolutely fine.
