Applying for F-1 but Mother's Surname has incorrect spelling on Passport

Hi,

I have received my I-20 and am going to apply for the F-1 visa. I've noticed that my mother's surname is incorrectly spelt on my passport. It should be "SAHAY" but is spelt as "SAHAV". My passport is almost 7 years old. I had never noticed this before.

What should I do now?

Kindly guide me.
