  • B2 visa reject last year, chances of getting F1 visa

    Hello,

My B2 visa was rejected last year. This year I have got admitted to a Ph.D. program with funding. What are the chances of getting F1 visa this time? Your suggetion is highly appreciated.

Most B and F visas are rejected for the same reason, INA214(b) inability to overcome the presumption of immigrant intent

If your circumstances have not changed, I would expect the same inability to show strong ties to your home abroad to hamper your F visa application as it did with your B visa application

My parents are still in Bangladesh. Isn't it a good tie to be considered? Please share your opinion.

        No

Those are not meaningful ties at all

I had F1 visa before and I spent 1.5 years in the USA. I returned back to my home country while I had 4 years' of f1 visa. Can this be considered as positive sign because I have returned to my home country?
