Yeaah! that's good news, you may even receive the official receipt before the 7th day, I got my text/email on a Thursday and on the Monday I-797C was in our mail box. We are getting there, Praises to the most high.

I-130 rejection because form was outdated

Hello!

I have been reading y'all for a while and now I wonder if I could please get some help..

I AM DESPERATE!! I am in the US on a J-1 visa, and my DS2019 is going to expire on June 30th. I applied for adjustment of status and work permit but my forms got rejected since they were outdated. I think this is unbelievable since their expiration date is at the end of the year. Well, I have 2 questions:
1- I want to re-send my application, but what happens if it is wrong again and/or if they do not get it before June 30th? Would it be illegal to apply after my DS2019 expired?
2- Did I lose all the fees or can I "reuse" them?

Don,t worry..
you can apply for adjustment of status at anytime.
Just resend the package with updated forms, you can definitely reuse the fees.
