I am a graduate student in my last semester of graduate studies and currently on valid F-1 status( have a I-94 ,entered the US legally and have been in legal standing ). My girlfriend (US citizen by birth)and i recently got married in January 2017(yay) . We are trying to file for my green card but we are both college students so probably cant afford a lawyer and would like your help. I have done my research but still not a 100% sure about this process , we have filled out I-130,I-765 and I-485. What else do we need to send to USCIS, i saw another thread which talked about passport photos and medical exam . Do we need to send this as well? what kind of medical exam documents are they looking for? Also the proof that our marriage was conducted in good faith such as pictures bank documents etc. Do we need to send those as well? Also if we make a mistake in filling any particular document ,do we have to repay the application fee with corrected documents?
    thanking you in anticipation.
Please take a look at my cover letter. My case is a little different: B2 in 2001, married 4/2017 and marriage based. The only issue I would see is with Affidavit of Support. Since both of you are graduate students, I do not believe you are working or making enough. So you will either have to get a sponsor (like someone in her family). The I-485 and I-130 do have a fee of $1,760. For the medical exam, it is form I-693 and you have to go to a USCIS certified doctor and unfortunately pay the fee which can range from $100-$300. If you have your immunization shots, bring those with you. They will run examine you physically (very basic), test you for tuberculosis, take your urine sample and blood sample.

You, the beneficiary need to to fill out form I-130A and form G-325A as well. Yes, you need a medical, form I-693. You need to submit passport-style photos: two from your petitioner and two from you (for form I-130); two from you (for form I-765); and another two from you (for form I-485). 8 passport-style photos in total.

      Good luck!

They send everything back to you if you sent something wrong, also, do not take the inmmigration blood test but after you receive your interview notice, i took mine 10/14/2016 and uscis received my papers 1 month after and up until now i have no interview date and was told i would need to do the test again if the interview takes place after 10/14/2017 because its valid only for 1 year, i'm so frustrated that i will have to pay 300$ more and my lawyer didn't know this, no freaking idea how he been doing so many cases and no1 ever told him that but me...... like.. srly.

Not everyone knows that the 1 year validity of the medical examinations. USCIS usually wasn't this slow. So forgive your lawyer. Your advice to him was valid. I will also be doing another medical too, when I did apply there was no Gonorrhea test or syphilis test and my AOS is over a year and still no interview date. I think something must have been wrong with the 2016 half part of USCIS calendar year...lol.....As all interview from June, 2016 to Dec 2016 has not been done, well some if not almost all.

            thank you
You said you researched in your first post but the questions you are asking shows no much research done at all. Those are basic things and you can find answers in the instructions of those forms.
Read all instructions to the forms before you fill in. They will tell you exactly what other forms you need to attach and instructions will also tell you do not need to notarize... all forms have to be copied of originals at the least. And you have to label the back of the pictures.

Please redo your research and make sure you are thorough and do everything well to avoid your forms being rejected or having rfe sent which will delay your process.
Also I am an F1 AoS through marriage and there is my cover letter. Hopefully it helps.

I am preparing all those paperwork too, There is one important form i did not see in your post, I864 (Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the INA) which is financial support. You said your gf is a student right? if her income exceeds 125% of the poverty line then she can be your sponsor otherwise you need a joint sponsor.

One tip that I can share is reading the instructions for each form and it answers most of your questions.
              PD: 08/30/2017
