Help Needed in deciding the US consulate to go for?

Hello,

I am on my F1 visa currently residing in states for last 4 years. Recently, I got my H1B visa approved and planning to visit India this december to have it stamped.
My question: As my hometown in India is in Madhya Pradesh that lies in the Mumbai Consulate jurisdiction. Do I need to go to Mumbai consulate or I can appear at Delhi consulate also (which is much more convenient to me)?
