I-485 Approval

I applied for I-485 in Nebraska center on Aug 2001 and notice date was Sep 2001. Is anybody there who got their approval?

I applied for I 485 (from Vermont)and my RD is Aug 19 2002 and I got my FP done on OCt 22 2002 can anybody tell me how long it will take to get the approval notice.
And in the internet it says
I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status 9/15/2002
Can anybody tell me what does that mean?
