    Advance parole

    Hello all,
    I submitted my aos package in may but didn't include the form i-131, now I want to apply for the advance parole do I need to state a reason? If yes, I need to complete my thesis defense in Nigeria, can I state that? Will I need a letter from my school? Can I expedite it?

    You are not asked for a reason. It's free. Attach a copy of your I-485 receipt.
