  • Is my currently overseas spouse required to sign the I-130A?

    Hello.

I recently came back from the country where my spouse is living. I had her fill out the I-130A while she was there, but she forgot to sign it. Is she required to sign it? If so, I guess I should send her the form, so she can sign it and send it back to me.

    Thanks

Yes, she will need to sign if she's the petitioner.

      Depends

If your spouse is the one applying for you then YES she must sign it. And she is only one who needs to sign it

      OR

If you are the one who is applying for her then NO she does not need to sign. You are the only one who needs to sign it.
