I-485 Interview date, Lawrence, MA?

Alright so when have you filed I-485? If the interview falls after 1 year of the I-485 filing, then she needs to do the medical examination. Unless I am not fully understanding the K-1 situation since I have lived here for over 16 years and I entered on a B1/B2 visa.

She came in June of 2016, handed the sealed envelope to the officer at the airport. She applied for I-485 on August 28TH 2016 after we got married.

Then I believe she needs to do the medical examination. For both above dates, it is going to be past 1 year.

BUT then again the statement is stating otherwise..

"If you received a medical examination prior to admission as a K nonimmigrant, then you are not required to have another medical examination at time of adjustment as long as:

Your Form I-485 is filed within 1 year of your overseas medical examination."

I came in with B2 visa. Sorry, I am not familiar with K visa procedure.

But you eventually will know the answer when you are at the interview.
