Hello,
I am an American citizen, recently married to a Mexican citizen in Mexico. I was living in Mexico on a residente temporal and now have had to move back to US for work opportunity. My wife has booked a plane ticket to come visit me for 10 days to celebrate my birthday and as a work vacation for her. She has a valid B2 tourist visa and we visited USA for 5 days together last year for a friends wedding(no problems).
We have no plans to immigrate her to USA but I've read it is hard for a visitor to get into USA if customs hear they are visiting their spouse.
I am looking for advice, should we book a hotel for duration of stay and she can say she is coming to shop and visit friends which is technically true? Or could this get her into trouble? Any tips are appreciated.
