Citizenship for children without parents being citizen

Hi friends,

I am a permanent resident of USA which i have received via my brother who is a USA citizen. I have been in USA since 2012 with my family

Me and my wife are not interested in applying for USA citizenship but i would like to apply it for my son. My son was born in India and not USA.

Can i apply USA citizenship for my son without parents being a us citizenship?
