The right embassy to go to for Schengen Visa

Hello,

I'm planning to travel to Europe twice in two months with two different itineraries.

10/27/2017 - 11/5/2017

First itinerary is from Basel (1 day)-- France (2 days) -- Germany (3 days) -- Amsterdam (2 days). It's a cruise ride (Viking Cruise Rhine Getaway). I'm not clear on what country embassy should I schedule my Schengen visa appointment with.

11/30/2017 - 12/13/2017
Second itinerary is from Spain --- France -- Spain. I know that I would be spending most number of days in Spain so I scheduled my Schengen visa appointment with the Spanish embassy on Oct 13th.

I'm confused now - should I schedule two different appointments for getting visa for these two trips? Or do I just need one appointment where I show them my itineraries for both the trips?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You don't need to schedule two appointments. You can schedule your appointment with German embassy for your first trip and show both itineraries.

If you get multiple entry visa then you don't need to attend the second interview with Spanish Embassy.
