Smile Visit to USA after extension of I-94

    Hello,

My parents have got I-94 extension of 5 months after their stay of 6 months in the USA.They have it extended upto 31 st March 2007.

They have their visa of 10 years.

If I want them to come back to US again, how many months they will have to spend in India? If they try to come back after a period of 1-2 months stay in India , how many months I-94 they will get again?

As they are old and dependent on me, is there any way of getting concession, so that they can come back to USA with a gap of 1-2 months stay in India and again stay here for 6 months?

    Please reply.

    Regards,
    Parag

NO. Please excuse me for being blunt but a visitor visa is meant for visits, and not permanent stay, even if they are old. They gave them enough
concession anyway by granting them an extension for 5 months.
    You cannot expect more.

If they come back a month or 2 after their 11 month stay, there are great chances they will be stopped and turned back ; a real hassle for old people.

I suggest they wait 6 months before entering again.
And they should keep copies of their I-94s, the extension approval letters
in case they need them on future entries.
