    Default I have a some Q's if you won't mind? ;)

    Hello,

me and my husband have been married for two and a half years, he's a US citizen. I've been in the US on a student visa for the last three and a half years. I'm from israel and I understood that its better for us (in terms of time) to apply from israel. so we want to do it as soon as possible. our Q's are:

1.because we are applying when we are married for more then two years we will get the regular visa right? so when we get back to the US upon entry I will get the regular (non conditioned) GC. then after two years and nine months I could apply for citizenship if we are still married right? but what if we will get divorced before it?
    2.will I loose my GC ?
3.could I apply for a citizenship if we got divorced?

4.if I apply for a citizenship and we are still married, will we have to get interviewed? or I will only need to take the test?

    thank you so much people,

    Dona.

Now you will get a regular (UNCONDITIONAL) gc which you will not lose even if you get divorced. You can apply for your citizenship 2 yrs 9 m later even if you get divorced after you get the gc because your gc was based
    on marriage to a USC.
Your spouse will not be interviewed at your citizenship interview.
