    Default I-94 expiry

My Visa is valid till 2008, My I-94 is getting expired in FEB 2007 due to the reason that my passposrt was getting expired in FEB. Now I have a new passport with extension. What should I do for new I-94 ..can I go to the border and get the new I-94, should I have to cross the border taking the canada visa to another country or can I just go to the border immigration office and get the new I-94. Any input is appreciated.

    Question similar I-94 expiration problem

Hi, I have H1-B visa (valid till 2009) and also the INS approved I797A document (valid till 2009). At the port of entry on 05/13/07 I was given I-94 valid till this Nov 2007 because of my passport expiration date.
Now I am getting driving license, which is valid till Nov 2007 because of I-94's early expiration date.
Right now I am in the process of renewal of the passport. But what should I do to extend the I-94?
I don't want to go out of the country for this.
I was told by 'customs and border petrol' (CBP) that I don't need to be worried as long as I have valid visa and valid I797A!
But what do I do with driving license! I need to have it valid till 2009.
    Can you please advise?
