EAD renewal and interim EAD

Hello Folks-

My current EAD expires on 6th Feb '07 and I applied for renewal on 6th Dec '06.Could anyone suggest about applying for interim EAD ?Can I apply for interim to keep my job even though it has not been 90 days since I applied?

I am in the same case. My case for EAD renewal is still processing in Nebraska since Nov 20th and I am on leave from today (EAD valid till yesterday). God knows how long it is going to take.
