Default Working in Canada at a client place while on H1B

I am on H1B & my current project requires me to work in Canada for my client.I am working on a project in canada on a business visa (WX1) & keep going back to US once in 3 weeks or earlier.
Everything remains the same (the way I use to work in US) but for my client who is in canada & hence my travel to canada. My employer, my payroll,my taxes everything is for US.

My Question one is , is the above okay OR it could be problem in my H1B status ?

Taking my concern one step further , since I am staying barely at my residence apartment in US I plan to get rid of it so as to save on rent. Although I would keep travelling to US on weekends once in 3 weeks or earlier (might stay in hotel / friend's place)

My questions two is , is it okay not to have a valid US residential address while being on a H1B status. For any mail needs (USPS etc.) I would specify a relative / friend's address.

    Would appreciate your help.

    Default H1 issues

---- As long as you maintain a valid status on H1 including being employed legally, how you travel is not important

---- These are your personal matters. That is your look out

My questions two is , is it okay not to have a valid US residential address while being on a H1B status. For any mail needs (USPS etc.) I would specify a relative / friend's address.

---- Depending on what mail is delivered to you can always have a friend's/relative's address as per your convenience
