Extension of Temporary Stay in the US with B-2 visa

I've got big help from your website, preparing application for extension of stay in the US. I have a question about air tickets. Since my air return tickets was just for three months after I left my country, I need to buy one way air ticket to enclose it with other documents. I called to traveling agency and she said airline companies have preferred to issue e-tickets not paper tickets recently. Do you think I still need paper tickets for the application of extension? As the info posted on your website, paper tickets should be shown. Please make it clear.
