I was going through sample interview questions and answers , and 1 ques is what is u r anual income and in answer it says do not say the unit lakh but say one hundred thousand.
so i wanted to know that if somebody s income is 2 lakh per yr how to say it ,and what is the reason not to mention the unit lakh.
advice please,

Lakh is an Indian concept. In US, Lakh is not used. Instead hundred thousand is used.
Therefore, if the income is 2 lakh, say 2 hundred thousand.Immihelp Support
