I am a high school science teacher with three masters degree in Zoology (science), English and Economics. I have 12 yeras teaching experiance out of which 2 years experiance is in USA. Presently I am on J-1 visa with 212(e) applicable on me. My current visa expires in Aug 2008. I got the NOC from the concerned departments in India.

1. Since how long the NOC received will be applicable/valid. I am asking it as presently I am in second year of my three years contract and I don't want to apply for a waiver till March 2008. As my programme is under G-5 category and if the DOS asks the sponsor for their opinion, I don't want to take a risk now.

2. If some other US government agency is intrested in hiring me, and if I go for a waiver based on IGA i.e. Intrested government agency, will still the present sponsoring agency will be contacted for that.
