Default H1B Visa for Doctors for Research Assistant Position

Can doctors get H1B visa for working in Pharma companies as research assistants?

What are the chances of getting these visas stamped at the consulate?

I am in 4th year OBGYN resident in New york, my resident is going to over by this july,09. After that my boss said he is going to offer research position as ECRIP basis. Right now, I am in EAD while my GC was in progress and it can be approve at any time.

My HR fellow is saying that, in order to get money from ECRIP will be required Green Card holders ..Is that true ...Could you please tell me about this one.

ECRIP” (Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program) grant is required below requirements for this research for US citizens, US nationals, or permanent residents of the US.

Do we have to have physical card of permanent residents of the US or if EAD is enough while my GC was progress.

    I will appreciate your help.
