I am trying to sponsor my mother-in-law for a visitor's visa.
Is my original birth certificate required? Or is it that of my wife that is required? Or both?
I understand that the invitation letter needs to be written by my wife. Can my wife sponsor her mother's visa? My wife is not working but she obviously has access to my accounts.
Also, my wife has a sister who is recently married and is on H4 in the US. Is there any documentary proof needed to state that her sister is in the US? If so, what? Or is it that my mother-in-law mentions this when asked in the interview?
My wife's brother and father will not be applying for a visa due to their studies and work respectively. So, I am thinking that my mother-in-law stands a fair chance to get the visa.
Your insights will be really appreciated.
