Waiting time in NYC.

Hi all,
I'd like to ask one simple question which is not so simple, I live in NYC an d plan to marry my girlfriend..How long it should take to be approved in New York City? I am here legally,just for the record.

As you can tell from my signature it goes very quickly.I haven't had the interview yet, but you can estimate by looking at our dates. This is provided that all documents are ok. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Hi Kandt congrats on ur EAD card. Did u get an interview date for July 11. Havent received mine yet just checking with you.

wow I am surprised.... I it really that fast? Are you in NYC? I was told it might be even two years or so.....

Yes I was just as surprised. I was expecting 8 months. I am in NYC and have even posted ads to ask whether there are any NYC people on the forum. If you browse posts under my name you will get an idea of the history.
