Transit Visa for Brussels

Hi, I will be travelling from Newark to Mumbai, India via Brussels. Will I need an airport transit visa for this? I know we need it for Paris and London, but am not familiar with Brussels. I have my H1 extension, but need to get my Visa stamped in India.

I am planning to travel to INDIA via Brussels.. I am not sure whether you need a transit visa for Brussels. Please let me know if someone already travelled. My current Stamped visa is expired and plan to take one at India.

Can you please throw some light as I am in the similar situation and need to travel and my US visa stamp has expired.

Please advice if Brussels Transit visa required or not ?

When i called up Belgium embassy in NY they said transit visa is not required for Indian citizens, even if they have expire visa on their passport since they are going to their home country India.

However, if anyone faced a different situation please notify as it will be helpful.
