Default Doctor's remarks for Positive Skin Test & Normal Chest X-Ray

    Hi,

My TB skin test was positive and so I went for Chest X-Ray. The Chest X-Ray was normal.

When I collected the sealed report, the doctor gave a copy of that to me. In the "Remarks" section of I-693, he has written as follows:

"THIS PATIENT HAS A POSITIVE PPD WITH A NORMAL CHEST XRAY. IT IS MY RECOMMENDATION THAT HE BE TREATED WITH INH FOR TUBERCULOSIS PREVENTION."

Please let me know whether will lead to RFE from USCIS?

I would appreciate your quick response in this regard.

    Thanks & Regs

Go to another USCIS doctor with the x-ray and immunizations letter and ask him/her to fill out the I-693.

    Default + tb

you should not have gone to your dr.beacause you dont have tb actually and we who had our shots in our country get a positive tb skin test.the shot we got in our childhood is different from what they give to kids here.its because of BCG shot.its called false-positive tb test.
