Default Impact on B1 for overstaying in another country long time ago.

I entered NewZealand in 1991 (16 years ago) as a student.Soon after the college in which I was studying got closed before we could even complete the study. we tried to regain our money but we could not.To add to the woe my passport had got stolen there.
I studied computer course when I came back to India and entered into IT industry.I have been working in IT industry for last 8 years and 5 months. It has beed 9 years and 4 months since I came back from NewZealand.
Now I am being invited by Client in USA for 6 weeks. Will I face problem in B1 VISA? I am earning good salary and paying of a house land.I am married and have 2 kids ( 7 years and 3 years old).
Do I need to mention NZ entry in DS-157.What kind of questions will I be asked for lost passport?
I also visited Germany on Schengen VISA in 2003.

    Please advice
    Regards

    Hi

    1. you definitely should give information about your stay in Newzealand.

Generally, VO do not question in depth about your stay in other countries, but in case if they ask better you give honest answers. It is better if you have all the legal documents that prove you stayed ther to claim your fee money from your school. (but did you stay there for 7 years? it is a very very long period)

    2. About lost passport they will be asking the passport number, when, where and how you lost it.
